Marsons Media Ltd. quotes, wins and manages orders for government departments, public institutions and large organizations. The goods themselves come from Canadian manufacturers and their distributors. If you have received a quotation request from us, this page explains what it is and how we work.
Our quotation requests
Requests come from procurement@marsonsmedia.com and carry a reference number starting with MM-RFQ. Each one describes the goods, the quantities, the general delivery area and the date we need your reply by. We name the customer only once an order is placed, and give the exact delivery address at that point.
Our requests describe the requirement in our own words. If a point is unclear, or your product differs from it in any way, please tell us. We would rather know before we quote than after.
What to include in your quote
- Unit prices in Canadian dollars before tax, with delivery as a separate line
- The maker, model and part number, with a specification sheet
- Lead time from order and current availability
- Warranty terms and the country of manufacture
- How long the price is held (we usually need 60 to 90 days, because public offers stay open that long)
Confidentiality
We do not share your prices with other suppliers. Your specification sheets and product literature may be included with our offer, because the buyer uses them to check that the product meets the requirement.
Orders and payment
When we win, we confirm the order with you in writing before anything is shipped, with the quantities, delivery address, site contact and delivery date. Purchase orders come from orders@marsonsmedia.com and invoices go to accounts@marsonsmedia.com. Payment terms are agreed with you for each order.
Installation and service partners
Many of our orders include delivery to the room, installation, commissioning and training. If you install or service the equipment you sell, or authorize installers who do, please say so in your quote.
Registering an opportunity
If your manufacturer runs a deal or opportunity registration program, you are welcome to register our request under Marsons Media Ltd.
