Public sector purchasing has its own rules: written specifications, mandatory requirements, fixed closing dates and clear records. We are set up to work that way. We respond to posted solicitations in our categories and to direct requests for quotation from buyers who are entitled to purchase without one.
Federal government
We supply departments, agencies and Crown corporations buying for sites in Ontario and the National Capital Region. Marsons Media Ltd. is registered on CanadaBuys through the SAP Business Network and responds to requests for quotation and competitive solicitations in our categories.
Federal offers are prepared to the format the solicitation asks for, with the technical offer, financial offer and certifications kept separate where required.
Provincial government
We supply Ontario ministries, agencies and Crown corporations. We are registered on the Ontario Tenders Portal. Our head office is in Ontario, which matters for purchases where the province gives preference to Ontario businesses.
Municipal government
We supply cities, regions and their local boards and agencies across the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario, including public libraries. We are registered with the City of Mississauga, Toronto Public Library and the Canoe Procurement Group of Canada.
Education
We supply school boards, colleges and universities, buying directly or through their purchasing organizations. We are registered with Peel District School Board and with OECM, the Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace.
School and campus deliveries often have to fit around term dates, receiving hours and site access. We confirm those details before shipping.
Purchases under $25,000
Many public buyers can purchase goods below $25,000 directly from a supplier, without a posted solicitation. Send us a request for quotation with the items, quantities and delivery location, and we will reply with a firm written quote.
